Dear Friends,
School is officially done, we are enjoying the first days of summer break.
Amy finished 2nd grade very well, she is excited to go to 3rd grade in a few months. We are very proud of her and hope she keeps up the good work. I remember when we came – a little less than two years ago -, she had problems putting together sentences in Hungarian. Now she comes home from school and speaks in Hungarian with her little sister, who by the way didn’t speak any Hungarian two years ago. 🙂 I love listening to Amy and Haley talk in Hungarian and am so glad they speak my mother tongue so well.
Joshua so far is leaning toward more English words, but he says some Hungarian words as well, and lets be honest, he doesn’t know a whole bunch of words, so we are unsure which language he will prefer at this point. I think he hears more Hungarian, but that doesn’t mean anything as I’ve learned with the girls.
Baby #4 (still unsure about the name) is a very active baby, just like his siblings were. He is seemingly constantly moving, kicking, and stretching. We cannot wait to hold him.
Summer camps at Word of Life start this coming weekend. Amy will be a camper the first week of camp. She is super excited, she LOVES camps. Haley cannot wait to be old enough to be a camper as well.
Please pray for our summer that we may have a blessed, restful time together as a family. Chris will be working most of the summer, so we will have to be wise in how we manage our time.
