Hi there,
Last month, Amy and Haley spent 5 days at Lake Balaton with my parents. They had a lot of fun and did very well. I am so glad they got to go. Haley wants to go back to “Balaton” ever since. While I missed the kids terribly, it was nice to be with Chris alone for those days. It’s amazing how different your schedule is when you don’t have the kids around. 🙂
I had the privilege of attending my sister’s Bridal Shower in Budapest a few weeks ago. Two of her dear friends organized a wonderful afternoon for her and we had a great time together. She is getting married in a month and we are very excited for her and her future husband. We are so thankful we can be at her wedding.
One Saturday 4 of my dear friends and their families came to visit. The 5 of us were good friends in High School, and now we are all married, and have 9 kids (soon 10) between the four of us. It was so neat to see their children, talk to them, spend time with them, and fellowship with them. I really missed seeing them, and I hope I get to see them often now.
We were blessed to find a good car for a good price last month, so we decided to buy it. It’s been very useful already, as I have appointments to go to, and we have official things to take care of. God already provided opportunities for us to bless others with it, and we hope He will continue to do so.
A new family from the States arrived this past week. We’ve been in touch with them online for several months now, but we’ve only met them for the first time this past Thursday. They have 4 children and Joshua, the dad, is going to be a Bible teacher at the Bible Institute. We absolutely love them and are so glad they are finally here!
Joshua is the Bible teacher this week at camp, and Chris translates for him.
As hard as it is to believe, this is the last week of camp. We had over 1000 campers and many decisions were made for Christ this summer. We are so thankful we could be a part of summer camps again, we truly missed this ministry. It’s wonderful to see God at work in these children, and seeing them understand the Gospel for the first time and decide to trust in Him will never get old.
Baby is developing well as far as we can tell. He was fine at my 20-week ultrasound and we are now finishing up my 23rd week. I haven’t had any major issues with him, although I am GIANT compared to my size at this point with Amy and Haley, which makes it harder to get things done. We have a little less than 4 months left, and I am so ready to meet him. 🙂
Please pray that Chris’ staying permit arrives soon, so he can get his medicine. He needs Hungarian insurance in order to be able to get his medicine and he can only get that once he has his permit.
We are so thankful we can be here.
God bless, dear friend!
