Dear friends and family,
It’s hard to believe that in 3 days we are going to be on a plane on our way to Hungary. As you may imagine, our house is a mess at this point. We have 3-4 pieces of furniture left in the whole house, everything is on the floors. We’ve been working hard to get everything ready, packed, put away, and we are in the process of giving the remainder of our stuff to those who may need it.
It’s a lot to get done, and we are tired. We hope to be able to rest on Sunday, so we don’t start a 24 hour trip exhausted. 🙂
We were able to meet with several of our friends these past days, and we are so thankful for each and every one of them. Last Sunday our church had a fellowship time after church for us, and it was wonderful to be able to spend some time with our church family one last time before we leave for Hungary. We are going to miss them dearly! How we wish we could take them all with us. Hopefully we will see some of them at our summer camps in Hungary one summer.
While saying goodbye is really hard, we cannot wait to be in Hungary and serve God at Word of Life Hungary.
Please pray for Chris’ paperwork to go smoothly as we apply for a staying permit (almost like a Green Card).
Once we get to Hungary we are going to spend a few days with my family as well as take care of the official things for Chris, the kids, and myself, and see some friends, and then we will go to our rental in Tóalmás, where Word of Life Hungary is located.
My parents worked very hard to prepare our house for us, words can’t express how thankful we are to them. We will have everything we need in the house already, and I am sure our beds are going to be made. They’ve been so sweet in helping us with everything we needed help with. It’s wonderful to have such loving parents.
We are currently at 62% support! We praise God for providing for us. Recently a very mission-minded church (Bethel Memorial Church) decided to pick us up with a very generous amount and we thank God for their kindness, encouragement, and support. We are absolutely amazed to see whom God is using to meet our needs. We serve an Almighty God!
We cannot wait to update you from Hungary! Until then, God bless! Please pray for our trip and for our ministry.
We are so thankful for you and want to know how we can pray for you. If you have any prayer requests or praises please don’t hesitate to contact us!
God bless!
