Dear friends,
Chris and I got married a little over 8 years ago, and since then, we had to pack all of our stuff and move into a different house 7 times. This time we hope we won’t have to move ever again.
We all love our house and are extremely grateful for it. What a privilege to own a house. Needless to say, we didn’t expect to own a house this soon after we moved back to Hungary, but we are very happy we have a place we can truly call “home.”
We moved in on May 20th, at which point we had one working toilet, no sinks, no showers, no hot water.
We still don’t have hot water, but we have everything else installed. We are still unpacking (it’s going very slow), but even now we love the space. The girls sleep in one room (Joshua will join them when he is older), Joshua sleeps in our room, and the kids have a playroom as well. Downstairs we have a tiny guestroom that has a separate bathroom and a big living room/dining room/kitchen.
We already had more people over here than we ever had at any of the other houses we lived in.
Amy just finished first grade and Haley had her last day of preschool (this year) as well. Both of them are super excited for summer break.
Joshua started crawling. He didn’t master it yet, but he can get where he wants to get slowly. 🙂
Chris had a two week vacation these past couple of weeks and it was wonderful!
My gall bladder surgery is scheduled for this coming Tuesday (June 19), I will have to stay in the hospital for 2-3 days at least is what I was told. Please pray that all goes well and I will be released as soon as possible. Hospitals are not my favorite places and I know I will miss Chris and the kids a lot.
Our summer camps start next Sunday! Please pray for the many campers who come!
