Dear friends,
Amy turned 11 early February, 2 more years, and we are going to have a teenager. 🙂 She had her youth group over for her birthday and it was so wonderful to see them enjoy some time together. We are thankful for these friendships.
Haley has more and more friends in her class and she continues to be a good student. Both Amy and her are diligently studying and it shows! We are thankful for their attitude.
Joshua is growing and maturing. He has very good questions and observations. My favorite story of the month with him is when I was explaining something to Haley at the dinner table (Joshua was there, too), and I went on and on trying to make sure she understands why she should do something differently and at the end I asked her, ‘Can you tell me with your words what I said?’ She replied, ‘I can’t, but I understood what you were saying.’ Joshua looked at me and said, ‘Mommy, God remembers what you were saying from the beginning. But we don’t. It was too long.’ Fair enough, Joshua. 😀
JJ is growing and learning very fast. He loves doing puzzles, tries to mimic all his siblings and wants to do everything by himself. He is very strong-willed (like all of our other children), but he is pretty good with obeying, too. He is a sweet boy and notices when people are not well and tries to help.
Chris and I are tired, but doing very well. We are thankful for our family, thankful for our jobs and for this wonderful place to serve God at. We are grateful for the team we can serve together with.
Thank you for your prayers, we feel prayed for. We trust in God and know that He is in control. May we faithfully allow Him to shine through us every day!
