Dear Friends,
Our sweet Amy turned 9 this month and our cute little Jonathan will be 6 months old in 10 days!
Amy asked for a burger for her birthday lunch and we knew just the place to order it from. 🙂 A block from our house is a street food restaurant where they serve HUGE burgers. It was her first time trying it and she couldn’t finish it in one sitting! If you know Amy, you know how big of a deal that is.
Amy loves playing on the piano and playing with her legos. She is a very creative girl, who writes songs, poems, short stories, and builds all sort of things with her legos. We are so proud of the young lady she is turning into.
Haley is determined to learn how to write words. Almost every day after she comes home from Kindergarten she grabs her little exercise book and asks me to spell different words for her. She can write her letters so well, but she is not yet sure how to spell all the words.
Joshua is being potty trained. 🙂 He only uses the potty during the day, but he still wears a diaper at night. I am so proud of him! He started talking in sentences and he is a very funny, mischievous little guy. He knows all his letters and colors. We are working on some shapes now. He can count to 10 in both languages, but he doesn’t recognize each number yet.
Jonathan is changing so much! He has a cold again, but otherwise healthy. He is nursing well and enjoys being with people. He can turn from both his back to his belly and back without any problems. He started sitting as well, but he loses his balance often. He loves to chew on toys and play with them.
Chris and I are lacking sleep but are so grateful for our children. They bring us so much joy and help us see our weaknesses. We’ve grown so much as parents. Our prayer is that they would know the Lord as their personal Savior at a young age and that they may grow in their faith day by day.
