Hi there,
Amy enjoyed her last long break before school ends on June 1. She was able to meet a dear friend of hers whom she hasn’t seen for a long time during spring break. 🙂 Amy is excited that they only have 2 more months of school. She is ready for first grade, and for the summer break. 🙂 She told me the other day, “Mommy, you said we are going to leave for Hungary shortly after school ends, and it will end soon, so lets not forget to leave for Hungary when it’s time.” 😀 I don’t think we are going to forget, Amy, but thank you! 😀
I had my endoscopy, and everything is fine. I will have an appointment next week to see if my pain is caused by gall bladder stones. If so, most likely they will have to take my gall bladder out, but at least I will not have the pain again. 🙂 Chris, the kids, and I had 10 appointments the last month and I will have 2 more this coming week. Once they check the gall bladder, hopefully we will have more answers.
We love the weather! It is so nice to be able to go outside for a walk or to go to the playground whenever we want to. The kids love to be outside! How wonderful that we can enjoy God’s creation. We have lots of squirrels here, cardinals, LOTS of robins :), we always find something to look at. 🙂
Please pray for us as we prepare to leave. There are a lot of things we have to figure out (such as where we will live once we get to Hungary) and lot of things we have to take care of in the remaining 12 weeks. We are also still looking for monthly supporters. We trust that God will provide in His perfect timing what we lack.
2 more family posts after this one and the third one will be from Hungary, Lord willing! 🙂
God bless!
