Dear friends,
Joshua is turning 1 in ten days. We are so excited to have him in our family and we are so thankful for the joy he brings us. He is a goofy little boy, and he is spoiled by his sisters. He can’t walk yet, but he can stand for a longer period of time without holding onto things. He has 5 teeth (3 on top and 2 on the bottom), and he is mommy’s little boy. 🙂

Amy and Haley spent a whole week apart from us. The Stone family was nice enough to take care of them for the whole week (they have 4 children on their own!!!), for which we are very thankful! Chris, Joshua, and I were at MIT (Missionary in Training) in Germany, and now we are officially long-term full time missionaries with Word of Life! It was hard to be without our girls, but we are very thankful for the people we met and the friends we made in Germany. It was very tiring and very blessed at the same time.
Chris will have a week off next week, we are definitely looking forward having him at home! 🙂 I am so thankful for him and for his heart!
Right now, I am tired, but I know the day will come when I can rest. 🙂 I appreciate your prayers for wisdom and strength.
As we celebrate Thanksgiving next week, we look back and see the many blessings God has given us. We are thankful for our marriage, for our children, for our family and friends, for the ministry we can be a part of (staff, Bible School students, campers), we are thankful for the house God provided for us, and most importantly that we can be His children. We serve a faithful God!
