First BI class – 1994
On this day, 25 years ago there were exactly 0 students at the WOL Hungary Bible Institute – and by God’s grace, on September 13th we will have our 25th BI opening weekend with over 60 students enrolled from over a dozen countries. They have all come here to invest a year or two of their lives to study the Word of God, learn how to apply it to their lives, and how to better minister the Gospel to a lost and dying world. Our team on the BI staff this year is an excellent and diverse group of servant leaders. They include many former students, who will be helping the young men and women of this class to grow spiritually in these most formative years of their lives.
25 years after we launched the Bible Institute, our mission is still the same – we still aim to faithfully teach the Bible, and to help believers grow and learn how to reach an ever-changing world with God’s unchanging Word. Please pray that our students and our staff will make the most of this year, every day looking for ways to serve one another, and to share the Gospel with those around us.
We are looking forward this year with great excitement. The kids cannot wait to meet our new family group, and we cannot wait to get to know as many of the students as we can. We appreciate your prayers as we start a new BI year.
